GET TO KNOW ALCIAN

Alcian is a singer-songwriter from Oakland, California. At an early age, her love of music pushed her beyond the scope of vocalization, prompting her to learn piano, violin and guitar. She has sung at numerous venues across the Bay Area and the country, including Yoshi's Jazz Club in SF, Sundance Film Festival in Utah and the SXSW Music Festival in Austin, TX.

Her music combines the sounds of R&B, Jazz, Neo-soul, Hip-Hop and Funk creating a refreshing new vibe backed by poetic lyric and an angelic tone. She has worked with and opened for various artists including: legendary guitarist Jimmy Luttrell, singer-songwriter Goapele, rap duo Blackalicious, R&B group Color Me Badd and keyboardist and composer Robert Walter.

 

She is currently working on her second EP to be released Spring 2025.
